WELLINGBOROUGH PARADE OF POWER 29TH AUGUST 2008


The Wellingborough Parade of Power happens every year at the end of August.Powerful cars, motorbikes and dragsters are parade through the town centre one way system.

The parade is organised by the Wellingborough Town Centre Partnership and Santa Pod Raceway to promote the town and the race track.

The 35 cars went round the one way system 5 times. It got a bit smoky!!

I was in Wellingborough in August, but I left on the Tuesday before this event unfortunately so didn't get to see it. Thanks for showing!

me 2 went round 4 times but had to pull out as the motor was getting very hot

I was in the Yellow Chevrolet Camaro about halfway through. I used nearly a 1/4 of a tank going round. This was the best year yet!
