Vigil for arrested protestors at the jail

This is me walking down the sidewalk outside the jail where arrested protestors were being held. You'll notice the people being careful not to form large groups - there are police, lots of them in full riot gear, just off to the left in the parking lot, and talking to the people I found out they're not at all shy about rushing any groups they see forming sticks drawn. A group of 25 people is automatically treated as a riot.Retired Colonel Ann Wright was there, but she was inside arguing with the authorities trying to get people released. She gave me and the other demonstrators a nice loud shout out from her car earlier in the day when we were doing the Guantanamo Bay anti-torture protest, and I got to actually talkto her for a few moments at the Peace Picnic which I will show a little from later. She seemed to be everywhere at the convention and she deserves some props. She was a high ranking State Department official who resigned over the Iraq War - as anyone with a conscience did, and since then she has been a tireless advocate for peace.

I may post a couple short scenes of people being released, but probably not. The most significicant one I saw was a girl who was released. I saw her rush over to another girl about the same age and they both left quickly, and I could tell she was crying and was veryafraid. All I could think is that she's unlikely to ever protest again. But that's the idea, isn't it?

There were people there offering free, very good food to people. There were people with blankets. There was the same generosity of spirit I generally found everywhere in the protest movement.

There were members of the ACLU there trying to get forms into the hands of all the people being released, to find out how and why they had been arrested. Hopefully, they will make St. Paul pay, literally, like NYC had to pay out for screwing the protestors at their convention. Maybe if enough citieshave net losses hosting conventions, we can ban the useless spectacles entirely.

Is it gonna take another Kent state massacre? Mao said it best, "Change must come through the barrel of a gun" quit taking it up the bum.

Now I know what you meant when mentioning "the jail" in an earlier vid. The first word that comes to mind here is COURAGE...***PROFILES IN COURAGE...???***Does that title sound familiar?

Great job again, the message was fear Government and this i feel was just a preview. We must hold the line like the view on the side walk. Together, we can get there.
