Muslims Destroy Ancient Statue of the Buddha


The fundamentalist Islamic Taliban destroyed 1,700 year old Gigantic Buddhist Statues that had been carved into the side of a mountain.When the precious Buddhist statues were destroyed by the Taliban, Buddhist all over the world immediately started to riot, leaving 175 dead.

It is sad to see the destruction of ancient statues. Religion aside, for me that was cool art and should have been left standing for everyone to marvel at.

if christians are to follow the example of "christ", they should not abolish the laws of old, but declare them as valid... that means... stoning those who fornicate of commit adultery, killing idoloters, and stoning those who have a disagreement with their parents and lose their cool... but you don't want to accep that... it's almost if Jesus is really God, he's too scared to own up to his own established laws of the OT...so cut it out with the double standards, cause I can only keep going!

all those accusations that you state against muslims and islam are actions that have also and still continue to be committed by non-muslims... if there's 1.5 billion muslims and 1% of them are amongst those who commit attrocities that leaves the muslims with 15 million corrupt people who we are victimized by... and if any group is the real victim it's the muslims themselves who get hurt more than the non-muslims by the extremists within our religion... so don't give me that!

The Hazara population of Afghanistan that used to be buddhist built those statues back in the day, yet it is the modern day Hazaras of Afghanistan who are Muslim that supported to have the statue taken down.
