refitted sonic screwdriver


got the blue light working and refitted some of the internals. Just another video of me playing around with it I guess.Range is about 5 meters - and if anyone knows of a decent sound module/record-playback microcircuit or chip that might fit into the body, please let me know.

hehe, it's really quite simple actually - though fortunately I had a flash of inspiration after my first tries and was able to make the chip fit in a 3/8 inch cube space, and then put in the IR LED with a smaller blue LED behind it to shine thru. the white protoboard on the chair just hold the receiver stuff. just search for something called a TINY IR-2 or such. company called rentron i think.
