I grabbed my guitar and went back to the kitchen and started to playing and singing quietly...Sha la la la laSha la la la laYou used to call me your angel

Memories started flooding into my head. All the good times. All the things we never did. "That was beautiful." Someone said from the doorway.




*Nick's POV* (A few minutes earlier)
"Erin, I really need to talk to you about something." I said. "Okay, shoot." She said. "Well, it's about Evangelynne. I-I think I like her. I mean a lot." I said. "Really?" "Yeah. Actually, no..." I sighed. "I think I love her." Erin and I sat in silence for about a minute. "Well? Are you gonna say anything?" I asked her. "Yeah. I really think she likes you too Nick. A lot. But you need to talk to her about it." Erin said. "I know. But how do I tell her?" I asked"Just talk to her. Maybe sing her a song. Just let her know how you feel." Erin said. "Alright. Thanks Erin." I said. "Anytime Nick. What are best friends for?" I laughed and hugged her before walking out to the front of the bus. I saw Evangelynne in the kitchen with her guitar. She was singing something quietly. (AN: I'm gonna skip to the end of the song, k? lol)
I miss you
Wow, her voice is amazing. "That was beautiful." I said from the doorway. She looked up and said "Oh, Nick. I didn't think anyone could hear me." "I was just coming to talk to you. That was really good. Did you write it?"I asked. "Well, yeah." "What's it about?" I asked her. "Umm, it's about my mom... and umm... I wrote it after she-she" She seemed to choke on her words a little bit. "Shh, it's okay. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked." I said. She started crying and I sat down next to her and hugged her. I love having her in my arms. I sat there holding her for a few minutes. "Thanks Nick." She said finally. "Evangelynne?" I said quietly. "Yeah Nick?" She whispered. "Well, I know we've only known each other for about a day but, I just felt this instant connection between us. And when I hugged you that first time, and even when I hugged you now, there were tingles going up my spine. What I'm saying is I really like you Evangelynne. A lot." I said. "Nick I-"
