One Man Show Chapter 13

Okay, not that I play favorites, but I just want you to know that this is definitely one of my fave chapters!!! This is where the REAL drama in my story begins!!! It hasn't even started yet! So you better be ready! You will NEVER guess what happens!!Ch. 13

D: Whenever Joy came into town, we would have all of you over. Oh, Taylor, sweetie, youve grown up so nicely! I remember when you and Joseph used to talk about how you were going to get married and-
J: EXCUSE ME?! HER?!
D: Dont you remember, sweetie? You were 11. Oh! You dont remember her name, you used to call her by her nickname! You called her Sweet T!
K: Sweet T?! Oh my god! Nice name!
Nick and Kevin died laughing while Joe was just staring at Taylor. His eyes were wide with horror.
J: YOU are my Sweet T?!
T: YOU are my JJ?!
J: What happened to you?!
T: Excuse me?
J: Youre-youre. Youre different looking.
Taylor just left him standing there. She looked at Denise.
T: Thank you, Denise.
She took my hand and we went downstairs.
She shut the door behind us.
T: Bells! THATS JJ!
E: Okay
T: He-I
She leaned in and whispered.
T: He was my first kiss!
E:YOU KISSED JOE?!
T: Shhh! Oh my god! Maybe he doesnt remember. Maybe he totally forgot.

N: You kissed her?
The three boys were in Nicks room.
J: Shh! Yes. My first kiss.
K: THAT is how you treat the girl you had your first kiss with?!
J: I didnt know!
N: So what are you going to do?J: I dont know. Who was the girl that you first kissed? What did YOU do?
Nick looked at the floor.
N: Emily.
J: Oh, Im sorry man. I-
N: Its cool. Im just going to go to my room.
Nick shut the door behind him. He heard Kevin talking.
K: Way to go man! Now hes going to go just back to how he was!
J: No hes not! Emmys here! She likes him back. I know she does.
Nick just shook his head and started walking to his room.




Ch. 13 Part 2

I walked upstairs.
E: Nick?
I walked into his room. I looked around for him. I started to leave when I saw a book next to his guitar. I walkedover and picked it up. I was positive after reading another song about him hating me, Id be fine. I opened to the first page and saw writing. It was One Man Show. I read it. I flipped to the next song. I read that one. I kept flipping and finally stopped on one song. I read it to myself.You warned me that you were gonna leave

*I thought about how I felt when he left me.*

I slammed the book shut. I had tears streaming down my face. I thought of the last verse. Dont lie. He was going to give everything he had to show me that he meant what he said. I hugged the book to my chest. I heard the door open. I turned around and saw Nick standing in the door.
N: Em? What-
He looked at the book in my hands and his eyes widened. He put his hand on the wall and put his other hand to his head. He looked at me. I was still crying. I looked up at him. I whispered.
E: Dont lie.
