Am I the Only One in Love With Retractable USB Cables?


http://... - When I got my laptop cooler, I quickly realized I needed a specific type of USB cable... one that had a male adapter on both ends. I had a difficult time finding the exact model I needed. It got me to thinking, I have a few smaller retractable kits, but I stumbled upon this one. It's the best I've found, by far.

Oh no, i wasn´t being sarcastic, sorry if it sounded like that. It REALLY is a good idea, which could work, if done right. The problem is that all these things consume a lot of power.

That´ a brilliant idea. You would need a powerful power supply for the PC...I think, not sure. So you don´t burn the motherboard, you know.

I'd like it if alll my peripherals (printer, speakers, Westell 6100 DSL modem, monitor, etc.) were TOTALLY PC powered via USB. Nothing to plug in to an electrical outlet. Then, they would automatically shutdown along with my PC at night, and bootup with my PC in the morning.
