why do people bitch about paying 50 dollars a YEAR. holy shit its just 50 bucks a year. That is cheaper than internet and is only about 4 bucks a month which is really really cheap. Xbox live new experience is the best and the whole idea of PS3 home just takes up too much time. Who wants to create all that stuff is when all that people care about is the software and the games.

However, you have to pay subscription fees to Microsoft to use the online gaming side of XBL while that is free on PSN. Like the old saying goes though, you get what you pay for.

Xbox Live is a far more consistent system as it is all run through Microsoft's servers rather than by each game's specific publisher as largely happens on with PSN with varying degrees of success and reliability.Both XBL and PSN offer plenty of free game demos, trailers etc. for free if that's all you'd be likely to use, it's the multiplayer gaming side where they differ a lot and XBL is widely regarded as the superior here.

My 20 dollar cell phone has bluetooth. PSN isn't even a pimple on XBL's ass. You guys have nothing to pay for, PSN is garbage. Home should be out in the next five years, and it will still suck. BTW 99% of people on XBL have and use headsets. If I had a PS3 I would pay for a GOOD service.

Guys as soon as PSN HOME releases, there is realy no point of all this war because HOME has everything LIVE has plus much much more. you can create a 3D detailed avatar and play pool, bowling with you psn friends can you do rthat on LIVE i think not, also watch trailers together
