What's Columbus Day gotta do with it?
Today is Columbus Day. He "discovered" North America, right? 1492, right? And the Pilgrims came to Plymouth in 1620, right? Did' Vikings come to America in, like, the 8th century? What about the Asians who became the Nativs because they came across from Russia thousands of years earlier?

Thanks for the comment, by the way. I appreciate it when people write little comments that stimulate further thought. It really helps with that sense of community YT is suppose to have.

But since I have some Cherokee blood too (just a little; my dad is on the rolls, but I am not), does that make me "non-white"? Or am I stioll "white" because of 99.5% of my blood? (I'm only about 1/256-- I got a drop or two from my maternal side.)Incidentally, my wife's biological father is 1/2 and we want to get my daughters' listed so they'd get benefits if we moved to Oklahoma; do you know how to research his number since he is a deadbeat father and doesn't remember?
