Yeah, it was inspired by some awesome anime: Samurai Champloo, FLCL, and Cowboy Bebop. Even though Avatar ain't Japanese, it pretty much erases the line between the two styles.

Anyway, funny shit right here gǔrl! ALGEBRAIC!

You make a good point, it isn't anime. But it was inspired by the Japanese style of cartoon. =\ So, I decided to stick with anime. But if you want to get all techinical...sure, call it an Ameranime or whatever. It had a lot of influence from the Japanese.
