Yes, I know. I can't believe it either. Sorry about the wait...Layla: That was like nothing at all.
Joe: Told you so.
Layla: Let's do it again! It was fun.
Nick: Well it better have been, I think you cut off the blood circulation in my hand.
Layla: Sorry about that.
Nick: I'm just kidding, don't worry about it... I'm sure the numbness will die down eventually.
Layla: Nick!
Nick: (laughs) Just kidding... It'll probably never die down.
Layla: (laughs) Nick!
Nick: (laughs) Again, just kidding.
Joe: So what are we going on next?
Taylor: I don't know, but we have to head home pretty soon.
Kevin: Why?
Jenni: Your mom said you guys have some sort of dinner thing to go to.
Joe: But Six Flags isn't fun if you have to leave before it gets dark.
Nick: Well there isn't much we can do about it apparently.
Layla: We'll come back another day and do Six Flags the right way.
Taylor: As long as I'm not paying.

--1 hour later--

(In Taylor's car)
Joe: So today wasfun.
Layla: Yeah it really was.
Nick: And hey, we only got mobbed like a thousand times.
Taylor: (laughs) So you guys had fun?
Joe: Yeah, thanks.
Nick: Thanks for taking us.
Layla: Thank you Taylor.
Taylor: You're welcome. But that's the last time I ever bet on something with you.
Layla: I beg to differ.
Taylor: No, really. I've learned my lesson.
Layla: (smiles) I bet you 50 bucks you'll bet me on something again.
Taylor: Alright... Wait. I'm not falling for that one.
Joe: (laughs) Nice try little one.
Nick: 'Little one'?
Joe: Yeah, Layla's new name.
Layla: I don't like it.
Joe: We don't all like our nicknames little one.
Layla: Stop calling me that.
Taylor: Why 'little one' though? She's not short.
Joe: 'Cus she's Nathan's little sister. It just fits.
Nick: I guess. Or you could call her 'junior'.
Layla: (laughs) Ew.
Joe: (laughs) No. See, with 'little one', you sort of get the younggrasshopper feel to it.
Nick: Why not just call her 'young grasshopper'?
Layla: (looks at Nick) Would you stop giving him ideas?!
Nick: (chuckles) Sorry.
Joe: Hm. Young grasshopper.
(Joe's phone rings)
Joe: (he looks down at the phone and puts it on speakerphone) You're on speaker.
Kevin: Uh, okay.We decided that we're all going shopping tomorrow or the day after or something.
Nick: We haven't been shopping in a while.
Kevin: Exactly why I'm suggesting this.
Taylor: We should go tomorrow. Kaya and I have plans on Thursday.
Kevin: Or we could go this weekend.
Taylor: That works too.
Kevin: Good, because we're all really tired.
Joe: (laughs) Alright, this weekend it is. Bye Kevin.
Layla: Bye Kevin!
Kevin: Bye. (hangs up)
Joe: You guys have plans?
Taylor: Yeah, we have stop by campus to take care of some things for school.
Joe: When do you start anyways?
Taylor: Monday/
Nick: (turns to Layla) Are you sure you don't want to switch to full time homeschooling?
Layla: Yeah, I'm sure.
Nick: It just seems easier.
Layla: The easy way out isn't always the right way to choose to do things Nicholas.
Nick: (smiles) So when does your school start?
Layla: Beginning of September. The 3rd or something.
Joe: (smiles) I don't have to do school anymore.
Nick: Joe?
Joe: Yeah?
Taylor: Shut it.
Joe: (smiles) Sorry.



Okay, a couple of things. No, I have not "disappeared from the face of the earth". I was super super busy, but my schedule is being cleared up and I'm having more free time. So I amslowly getting back into the grove of things and such. Thank you sooooo much for being SOOOOO patient! I felt so bad these past 2 weeks that I didn't post anything... YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD I FELT!

And I'm sorry to give such a plain chapter but it's better than nothing, right?

i like the part where joe is trying to make up a nickname 4 layla! but it would'nt fit in here. but that was making me laugh SO HARD! cant wait til the next one! and no worries i can be patient....at some times........
