Antonio Tarver: I Am a Fighter


Tampa native Antonio Tarver, 38, is best known for his destruction of the then-indestructible pound-for-pound world champion Roy Jones, Jr. Tarver took two out of three fights from Jones, including a one-punch, 2nd Rd KO in '04, and Jones has not been the same since. Tarver, the current IBF/IBO Light Heavyweight Champion dismantled then IBF champ Clinton Woods in his last outing and is on a quest to regain the title Undisputed. Woods would have lost to anyone in the top 15 that night - it was an awful performance. We can hope, but we shouldn't. This is a last payday for Tarver, and nothing more. Dawson will win easily and say he's the best, and then chase some other old fighter on the brink of retirement.
