Festival in Tagawa City, Fukuoka-ken田川市福岡県川わたりじんこんさい祭


This is a great festival in Tagawa, (near Kitakyushu, in Fukuoka-ken -- Japan). Teams haul these floats around the city then drive them into a shallow area of the river... And of course everyone's drunk. (What Japanese festival doesn't have drinking?)　Apparently, this city is renowned for being infested with Yakuza.

（日本語で材器は最悪、すみません！）この祭で花車は町の中で曳かれてって、浅い川に入られていました。やっぱり皆は酔っ払いだね。ここでヤクザが多いですから、すごく夢と聞きました。
