Halogenation of DEET featuring lettuce lingerie
When you think on it it, much effort has gone towards curing bug carried disease I thought making DEET better would address that; with the right receptors halogenation makes things 300 times more effective with the chlorosucrose knows as splenda being 300 times sweeter at the receptor systemically chlorinated as well as fluorinated cortisone derivatives are more than a thousand times more chemically active than cortisone I thought, has anyone made chloroDEET yetjust recently the first attempt to restructure DEET was published at http://... with newer versions three times better I thing HaloDEET could be dozens or hundreds of times more effective
I think millions of people woulddirectly benefit from a DEET that lasts 300 times longer there would be vast disease reduction as well More people could have ice cream.
I know I be making fun of the government but going to vietnam but not researching better DEET was ...less than fully capable
where to put the halogen atoms is the thing DEET http://...
the article says The mechanism of repellent action is known to be receptor-based, possibly involving the GPRor7 receptor (until recently, it was designated as AgOR7) on mosquito antennae as a target for the bioactive molecules (51). The first class of descriptors could be related to orientation effects and to the possibility of ligandreceptor noncovalent bonds. Most of the electrostatic descriptors depict the distribution of negative charge within the molecule and are probably connected to the heteroatoms present, such as oxygen and nitrogen. Especially the Minimum en attraction for bond CO descriptor shows how important the presence of a carbonyl group is for the repellent effect and indicates that the stronger the CO bond the longer the protection time.
to me that makes putting a halogen on the lone CH3(Ch2Cl) or changing the saturation of the benzene with a halogen Para the link to the =o would address what the article says, but actually I'd just nonspecifically halogenate, use chromotography to make about 12 versions then test them
I think the Bill n Melinda Gates Foundation would like this abunch Just a couple grad students might create a new chemical that drastically reduces illness
HaloDEET might also be an awesome effect multiplier on actual persticides benefitting food production
