Elk attacks big rig


October 05, 2008 a 400+ pound elk decided to detroy the front of our rig. Here is the damage done and what the truck did to the cocky elk!

It is heartwrenching to to see such a magnificent creature die such an undignified death like that. His ego had the audacity to think that you could stop your rig in time. Or perhaps, he just stopped in the road and stared in awe at those "two GLOWING eyes".Your truck is repairable...and of course, you have insurance...hopefully, no money out of pocket. But to see this awesome and beautiful beast hanging from a winch like some Christmas ornament makes me very, very sad. I'm glad U R OK!
