sorry i was making a point about the way life is TODAY. when do we learn about our forefathers in the way that we have learned about them via web? never! according to our education, they were deeply religious conservatives. i never was inferring the forefathers were immature children. i respect them more than any other historical figure. i was pointing out the fact that we enlightened people are online learning this information. i'm not saying, oh, rolling stone is the best blah blah.

all a libertarian really is, is a traditional conservative who believes in small government, small spending, low taxes, a foreign policy of non-intervention, and staying out of foreign alliances. these are all of the things in the Constitution. i guess the Founding Fathers are just immature children to you.

Kid with a computer? I was under the impressions it was primarily a collection of corporate lobbyists pretending to be idealists, who want to be the new generation of 'landlords' (or at least be a good pet for them).

It would explain the fact that libertarian institutes and party are funded entirely by the mega-wealthy and corporations that want to end regulations (like philiip morris etc.)...

Great articulation of why McCain is such a BIG GOVERNMENT candidate. Listen carefully to minute 2:41: "every way that he uses to fix it [various problems he decides undermine his militaristic patriotism] it's by expanding government power." No VP pick can overcome his legislative record of intrusive government.
