Fear

What are you afraid of?I recently posted a video called "Truth." Linked here:

http://...

"Truth" got quite a response from the Republicans, who apparently did not like it when I said repeatedly that "Republicans Lie." Other videos I have made like it have really brought out what a lot of YouTubers like to call "haters."

Here's the deal. I am not afraid. I am not influential enough, I do not make enough of a difference for it to really be worth someone tracking me down and coming after me.

Tragedies happen every day. I could be hit by oncoming traffic while driving to work. Lifeis just too short to be afraid.

So, call me names, threaten me, I'm here to stay. I am just a guy with an opinion. I don't claim to know everything, I don't claim to be an expert, I am flexible and open minded. I am just here to share my thoughts and ideas and get feedback from a diverse group of people. As I've said many times before, I welcome differing points of view, but leave the pointless insults behind. Tell me why you disagree, tell me what you talk issue with, let's talk about it. Calling someone names, especially if they have no basis in reality, will never convince anyone.

So whatare you afraid of?

When I go to the dentist I usually use the gas too.
MasterBlasterBR549 (October 13, 2008 at 2:52 am)
The only fear I have is dental work so I use the gas.

I agree. Life is too short to be afraid and have it stop you. Even though I fear, I just keep going and push right past that fear.

I wouldn't say that I am afraid of dying, but I agree with the not being done part. I am very aware of the passage of time. I have a hard time sitting still unless I am enriching my mind. I have trouble even committing to a 2 hour movie anymore, except for documentaries. If it is purely only entertainment, I feel like I am recklessly wasting my remaining moments on this earth, because really, who knows how many more any of us gets.

Thanks! I must admit I was oddly a bit nervous about posting this one. It almost feels like I am challenging haters to scare me. I am planning on responding to your tag video, but it may be a week or so.
NorCalCorsello (October 4, 2008 at 10:45 pm)
Absolutely! If you ever find yourself anywhere in this area definitely let me know and we'll have a drink.

Probably a wise idea. Criminals often watch for patterns.

My mom always taught me from a young age that "polyester is for poor people." She also said the same of Velveeta and Spam. As it turned out, it was good to be raised with a bit of class.

No, no, NO! I don't start bar fights... I finish them! (Ooh, how you like that machismo!)

I think I might've already unknowingly joined Kenrg's hippie cult. (I wondered why I had to swim naked on the full moon along the West Cliffs just to get him to agree to a collab video.)

I'm afraid of dying because I'm not done yet

Brilliant video, Chris, one of your best, thanks for being great. Yeah, sure, it's just vlogging, but this is great vlogging, and I truly have to congratulate you. By the way, get a haircut lol just kidding :)

I also have to say...... LMFAO at "get a haircut" - that bit made me actually LMFAO, and I think that we should have a drink together if I ever find myself in CA, and if you drink. Cheers.

I am afraid of people knowing what I`m thinking. Being predictable. It`s why I walk a different way home every day.

I'm afraid of plaid polyester.

Actually, I have to chuckle because when I first stumbled into all this YouTube stuff, I HEAVILY debated whether or not to get on camera because of some of these fears (which eventually proved to be unfounded and silly, at least for me).
But what's this stuff about you starting bar fights??

BTW, you don't need to get a hair cut. If you wanna join Kenrg's hippie cult, that's your business.
