Cool. Depending on how my week goes, I might be able to film it pretty soon. Is any of the music finished yet? If not, it might feel eerier with just some ambient sound.

Doing an abstract video would be better for establishing mood than a short story kind of thing. Earthbound has two title screens, an attract mode and an in-game intro, but what all four of them kind of get across is that something strange and incredible is about to happen.

It's almost Halloween, I think I could get some rubber masks and props to create a Neo Theo and submerge it in the water so that you catch quick glimpses of him in between ripples and splashes.

Speaking of that, I talked to wynand about filming the intro, and he didn't like the bounty hunter idea but liked the idea of doing weird/abstract intro, perhaps based on footage of a lake at different dramatic angles, with random splashes and weird things going on, like earthbound's intro (which I don't actually remember but he specifically said it should have the feeling of earthbound's intro). What do you think?

I just found some tapes with the footage from two different attempts at making a Spellshard commercial.

Age of Beatings was like 10% filmed (We spent literally weeks worth of shooting days redoing the first scene) and Doctor Sisyphus was 90%.

at first i thought it was just a collection of tiny clips representing failure, but now i see that it is a set of failed movies? i guess both work.
